Based on improving fluency, accuracy and comprehension, through this programme your child will receive a 45-minute intensive session once/twice a week. It is a 1:1 or 1:2 teacher student ratio where students engage in repeated reading of a text followed by carefully planned questions to assist comprehension.

The BEAM program is specially suited to learners with special needs. Students with ADD and ADHD, yet engaging hands on activities to remain engaged in the learning process. Through carefully prepared resources which consists of short passages, flash cards, word games, crosswords, and visuals graphs to map their progress this program will give your child opportunities to succeed and improve their literacy outcomes in a fun and engaging way.
Using Blooms taxonomy lessons are planned to start at lower-level thinking to give learners an immediate sense of success while slowly challenging them to more sophisticated activities which focus on higher order thinking such as analysing an opinion piece, writing persuasively on a topic etc. A typical lesson might include- watching a video clip to activate prior knowledge followed by reading of a text , highlighting unknown words, and discussions to draw out the main idea.
